The Naked and Famous (TNAF) has been a blip on my radar, and only until recently did I start to take more notice of it.
Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, the indie quintet's first single Young Blood from their debut album Passive Me, Aggressive You (2010) debuted at number one on the New Zealand Singles Chart. It even went on to win the APRA Silver Scroll later that year.
Some of you may have noticed that I posted this question on my Facebook a few days back...
Different people will have their own individual take on the answer to the question, but I believe my answer would be The Naked and Famous.
You guys should go listen to Young Blood - a great, catchy song which has been used in several TV shows and advertisements. Personally, their third single Girls Like You is receiving multiple spins on my iTunes and iPod daily.
Here's the video to Girls Like You. Nothing groundbreaking, nothing very fanciful but it fits the mood of the song generally well.
